Cisneros Media, the corporate division encompassing the Cisneros’ media and entertainment businesses around the world, hosted a semi-final round of judging for the 2017 International Emmy® Awards in Miami. A panel of distinguished industry professionals, actors, producers and writers gathered on August 10th at Cisneros Studios to evaluate the works submitted by their colleagues from around the world for International Emmy® consideration.

“We are happy to host, once again, this prestigious event on behalf of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, which recognizes the best television shows produced, and initially aired, outside the United States. We are extremely grateful with the top media executives and personalities who spent the day with us, having the difficult task to judge excellent productions at our Studio facilities in Miami”, stated Jonathan Blum, President of Cisneros Media.

“Hosting is an integral part of the judging process and we are very thankful for the great continued support of Cisneros Media,” commented Jessica Franco from the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

The final round of judging will take place in September, and the nominees in each category will be announced in October from Cannes, France. The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences will reveal the winners during the 45th Annual International Emmy® Awards presentation, which will take place on November 20rth in New York City.
