The Most Anticipated Movies for the Rest of 2015

Jonathan Blum

2015 has been full of box office records. Here is a list of the movies that have created the most excitement despite still not yet being released. They are on everyone’s lips and it is worth noting they are all part of sagas:

1. Jurassic World: This successful Steven Spielberg saga returns to the big screens under the direction of Colin Trevorrow. It is definitely one of the most anticipated movies for the generation who grew up with this series. This time, Chris Pratt will be the protagonist. He will personify a park team member in charge of bringing the dinosaur that has escaped from the island under control.

2. Spectre: Directed by Sam Menes, this is the twenty-fourth episode of James Bond, played by Daniel Craig. This time, 007 will confront the Spectre Organization, while M, his boss, continues to battle against political pressure which threatens the group of super spies.

3. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2: Directed by Francis Lawrence, the fourth and final episode of this successful saga, “The Hunger Games” will arrive this year, with Jennifer Lawrence playing the lead role. This chapter will closely follow Katniss Everdeen’s struggle against the capitol. She is followed by district 13 which seeks to assassinate President Snow.

4. Starwars VII. The Force Awakens: Written and directed by J.J. Abrahams in collaboration with George Lucas, this is the first installment of a trilogy, the story of which is still under wraps. This has created even more anticipation, particularly seeing as Disney has bought the rights.
