StumbleUpon, the App Which Allows Users to Share Their Interests through a Social Business Network

Jonathan Blum

The internet world is exceedingly huge and even with tools such as Google, it can be easy to get lost in so much information and not find the page we are really looking for, or one that suits our preferences.

In response to this, Garrett Camp, also known for developing the Uber platform, created StumbleUpon, an app which compiles users’ interests and then suggests articles, places and pages to visit. If you don’t like a page, all you have to do is click the “don’t like” button and the application will search for other types of sites for you to visit.

The application gives us photographs, travel tips, infographs, quizzes, cooking recipes and many other things.

I think this is an interesting platform because it facilitates user experience and saves us time by allowing us to easily find content that interests us without getting lost in the infinite internet world.
