The Best Series of 2015

Jonathan Blum

For the entertainment world, 2015 was characterized by new content trends and new formats. Proof of this is the fact that two original series produced by a streaming service now appears on the Vulture list of Best TV Shows.

Content produced exclusively for these services has been very well received by audiences and I am sure it will occupy more places on this ranking in the future.

Without a doubt, 2016 will be a huge challenge for producers. As it has been said before, consumers are becoming increasingly demanding and capturing their interest amidst the wide range of format and platform options is not for the fainthearted.

Here is a list of this year’s most popular series:

1. Hannibal (NBC)

2. The Americans (FX)

3. Mad Men (AMC)

4. BoJack Horseman (Netflix)

5. Show Me a Hero (HBO)

6. Rectify (Sundance TV)

7. Jessica Jones (Netflix)

8. Black-ish (ABC)

9. The Leftovers (HBO)

10. Fargo (FX)
