It was an exciting year for film lovers, filled with new releases and remakes that caused a lot of commotion. Many articles have proclaimed 2015 as being one of the biggest years at the box office. As the months went by, each new release surprised us by breaking records one after another.

But which movies earned the most revenue in the world? Here is a list of the top 10 films that cleaned up the most revenues (in US$):
